Bamboo roller blinds are woven from natural bamboo slats and roll up on a cord. They filter sunlight into a soft, warm glow, cut glare and give daytime privacy while letting air move through. On a Nairobi balcony or veranda they shade the afternoon sun and keep the space usable.
Every blind is made to measure. Indoor versions suit living rooms, bedrooms and restaurants that want a natural look. Outdoor versions for balconies and verandas use a treated weave that handles sun and light rain. Sizes are measured free at your home or office and large openings can be split into two or three blinds on one line.
Bamboo blinds suit apartments in Kilimani, Lavington and Westlands, garden homes in Karen and Runda, cafes, lodges and spas. They pair well with SPC flooring and fluted wall panels for a natural interior.
Installation is included in the installed price and most orders are fitted within three to five working days of measuring. Excel Deco installs across Nairobi and in Kiambu, Machakos and Kajiado. Supply only blinds can be couriered to other towns if you send exact sizes.
Questions people ask
Can bamboo blinds be used outside?
Yes on a covered balcony or veranda. Roll them up during heavy rain to extend their life.
Do they block light completely?
No. They filter light. For a dark room choose blackout roller blinds instead.
How are they cleaned?
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on low. Avoid soaking the bamboo.
