Which zebra blinds in Nairobi suit my room?

Translucent: sitting rooms where you want daylight and some privacy.
Dimout: TV rooms and offices with screen glare.
Blackout zebra: bedrooms and nursery rooms.

Picture a family in Kilimani whose west facing sitting room turns into an oven after lunch. Dimout zebra blinds let them keep the view through the sheer bands and still watch the news at 4pm.

Zebra blinds questions

Are day and night blinds in Kenya the same as zebra blinds?

Yes. Day and night is another name for the same double layer roller blind.

What does a typical window cost?

A window 1.5m wide and 1.2m high is 1.8 sqm. At KSh 3,999 installed, that is about KSh 7,200.

Do zebra roller blinds block all light?

Only the blackout zebra fabric. Translucent and dimout let some light through when closed.

How do I measure?

Measure width and drop in three places and use the smallest figure. Follow our guide to measuring windows for blinds.

Zebra, roller or vertical?

Read roller vs zebra vs vertical blinds and the full blinds prices in Kenya list.

Zebra blinds for windows are one of several options. Compare Roller Blinds, Vertical Blinds and all Window Blinds. Zebra blinds in Kenya are sold per square metre, so small windows cost less.
